Splash pads will remain closed until further notice. 

Playgrounds/Outdoor Fitness Equipment

  • Playgrounds are not be regularly sanitized based on new CDC guidance. Social distancing and regular hand washing is highly encouraged. 


All restrooms are open.

Portable Restrooms at neighborhood parks are open and cleaned weekly. Patrons are encouraged to use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.


Park pavilions are available for booking to groups of 50 or less. Visit our catalog to book your event.

Park Venues

Booking is now available for groups of 50 or less at Freedom Point or 100 people at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Renters must submit a social distancing plan to the Facility Supervisor no later than one week prior to the event outlining how they intend to maintain social distancing (ie tables will be placed at least 6ft apart, no more than 5 guests will be seated per table, etc).

Athletic Facilities

Swan Lake Softball Fields, Swan Lake Tennis Complex, Pettus Park, Liberty Park Athletic Fields, and Heritage Park Soccer Complex reopen June 1 for specific types of rentals. Per the Governor’s Executive Order #38, all contact and non-contact sports can include training or practicing in a manner that does not involve close contact with other persons. Rentals will be available for the use of practice dependent upon the guidelines set forth per each sport. Facilities can be rented by local teams in the Clarksville/Montgomery County and Fort Campbell area. No teams based outside of that area will be permitted to use the fields at this time. Gyms/Recreation Centers

All centers are open on their regular schedule. All programming provided will allow for social distancing.

Hours of Operation:

Crow and Burt Cobb Recreation Center: 10 am-8 pm Mon-Thurs, 11 am-6 pm Fri. and 9 am-3 pm Sat.

Kleeman Recreation Center: 7:45 am-8 pm Mon-Thurs, 7:45 am-6 pm Fri and 9 am-3 pm Sat.

Occupancy for the game room will be no more than 5 people.
Occupancy for the meeting room will be no more than 10 people. 


Swan Lake and Mason Rudolph Golf Courses are reopened for full operations. Occupancy guidelines will be enforced in the Club Houses and Pro Shop. For more information, visit the Golf Course page

Programming, Events and Activities

All activities will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center

The facility is now open and tours are available. Social distancing guidelines must be followed and hours may be altered to accommodate sanitization. For more information, visit the Fort Defiance page

BCycle Stations

The city’s five stations are open beginning June 1. Users are encouraged to wash their hands before and after trips and use the BCycle app rather than the kiosk. 

Main Office

The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office located at 102 Public Square is open to the public beginning June 1, 2020.
